This custom rug was handcrafted for a client who wanted a standout art piece to elevate their luxury walk-in closet. The result became part of an evolving character-themed collection inspired by Solara, a fictional muse representing confidence, beauty, and modern femininity.

This particular design captures Solara in a soft pink bikini, rendered through layered textures, carved details, and rich color contrast. The rug was shaped and sculpted completely by hand, turning a flat concept into a dimensional statement that feels both artistic and personal.

Created using precision tufting and premium yarn blends, this piece brings warmth, color, and personality into a space meant for self-expression. What makes it even more special is that it was designed specifically to complement the client’s closet aesthetic—serving as the centerpiece of a curated, luxury environment.

This piece was born during one of my late-night marathon art sessions — the kind where time doesn’t exist, music is blasting, and the whole room is glowing like a mini art universe. I had no plan going in, just pure energy and a blank canvas staring back at me. Somehow, Bart Simpson ended up becoming the main character of the night.

The original idea was to make a simple portrait… but once the speakers started humming and the neon paints came out, Bart transformed into something way more bold, chaotic, and full of attitude. Every stroke got louder, every color popped harder, and before I knew it, the entire studio looked like it was part of the painting.

What you see here is the exact moment when the character stopped being just a drawing and started feeling alive — like he was about to step out the canvas and grab the spray can out of my hand.

This hand-tufted rug is my personal tribute to the world-renowned “Takashi Murakami – Flower” artwork. Known for its bold colors, joyful expression, and signature Superflat style, Murakami’s Flower has become an international symbol of happiness and creativity.

Inspired by the original design, I recreated this piece using high-quality yarns, saturated neon-bright colors, and a thick black outline to mirror the energy of Murakami’s work—while adding my own craftsmanship and texture through tufting.
